Raiden Mei is the second obtainable character of Houkai Gakuen 2.
During the Third Great Houkai, she was affected by the source energy and nearly lost herself. She was saved by her underclassman and then friend, Kiana Kaslana, just in time.
Story[]
Retrospective[]
She is the only daughter of Raiden Ryoma, the former president of Massive Electric Corporation. Born on April 13, 1996, her mother soon passed away due to cancer. She was raised strictly from an early age and learned the family swordsmanship of "Hokushin Ittou-ryuu" from her master, "Homu Swordsman".
When she was at Senba Academy, she was very popular at school because of her celebrity background and beautiful appearance. After her father was arrested and imprisoned, her relationships changed and her personality also changed.
She became the Third Herrscher when the Third Honkai Eruption began. Her ability is to control lightning. She returned to her human form when the Honkai Energy in her body was absorbed by Kiana.
According to confidential information, most of the preparations that Anti-Entropy made in Nagazora City were related to her. There seems to be some hidden reason why she became the Third Herrscher.
After leaving Nagazora City, she enrolled into St. Freya Academy along with Kiana and Bronya and joined the Fifth Platoon as a Valkyrie. She turned back into a Herrscher at the end of Retrospective, but was unable to stop Kiana from destroying the world.
Reborn[]
In Reborn, she has the same background as in Retrospective. She was captured while escaping from Nagazora City with Kiana and Kyuushou, and became the subject of experimental research by the Doctor, an Anti-Entropy Executor. She was rescued by the Valkyries of Schicksal, and was brought to St. Freya Academy together with them.

- Mei is the second gacha character can be obtained without spending any crystals through a special mission in version 8.1. The first character can be obtained through this way is Bronya
- Mei's default design and chibi eyes are gray instead of purple since she never used Herrscher's abilities in Retrospective.
