Araya is the Stigmata Terminal which manage the Earth and execute World Reset after each time humanity was destroyed by the Houkai. Further stories revealed that she is actually Kiana (Era: ZERO) who was dying on the moon and was turned into biocomputer by Dr. MEI.

At the last moment after dying on the moon (refer to Jyahnar comic), Dr. MEI turned Kiana into a biocomputer that is now named as Araya, Kiana's Herrscher power greatly assist the completion of Stigmata Terminal.

After Araya's calculation, the main factor that brought the world to its demise 42000 years ago was the acquaintance of Kiana and Mei.

• The power of the stigmata will lead both to walk together, meet at Senba Academy, fight against the Houkai together, gradually lose themselves in the constant battle, and finally lead to the beginning of the destruction of the world.

Therefore, the correction made by the Stigmata Terminal is to separate Kiana from Mei, and Araya has chosen a human being as the carrier of Kiana who is Houraiji Kyuusyou.

According to Araya, Kiana and Mei will still be born, and because of the interference of the survivors of the previous era, and everything has returned to the original wrong line and Araya started World Reset sequences.

Since Araya is programmed to obey Kiana Kaslana, Kiana's command to freeze World Reset will permanently preventing the world from getting Reset again.

Later, the stigmata terminal was captured by Otto Apokalypse.

R13 Houkai World

In Stigmata Space, Araya tried to convince Kiana not to enter further and was commanded by Kiana to open the "door" and leads to the terminal being "contaminated", causing Stigmata holders get sucked into this world. Several "souls" were fighting each other and goes to the void.

Some Araya's explanations about "souls":

• Once the world of Stigmata is swallowed up, the consciousness of the holder of will no longer be able to return to the physical body and this means death.
• The difference in physical and spiritual experiences would further tear Kiana's ego apart.

In R13 story, stigmata information revealed that Araya is actually Era 0 Kiana that was dying and was made into biocomputer by Dr. MEI.
